Lemon Peel Stitch Infinity Scarf - Free Pattern!

Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on February 2nd, so it's 6 more weeks of winter! Looking at the weather right now, it looks like he was right! In Texas today, the low is projected to be 25. That's cold for us Texans.

In honor of this, I've decided to venture away from amigurumi for a minute and create a new infinity scarf with you! Stay warm!

The lemon peel stitch creates a cozy, warm texture that you're going to love!!

Let's get started!

Lemon Peel Stitch Infinity Scarf Pattern

Any color of yarn may be used, but for a self-striping effect, use at least one striped yarn.

Materials:

  • 2 skeins worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Stripes Sutherland Stripes and Red Heart Super Saver Medium Thyme
  • 10 mm crochet hook (N)
  • Yarn Needle
Skill Level: easy / beginner

Abbreviations:
  • ch - chain

  • FO - fasten off
Pattern: This scarf is made with both yarns together.
Foundation row - Using two strands of yarn (one of each color), ch 25.
- Row 1: sc in second ch from hook, dc. Repeat the pattern of (sc, dc) until the end. You should finish with a dc.
- Row 2: ch 1; sc in top of previous dc, (sc, dc) to the end.
- Repeat row 2 until desired length or until scarf reaches approximately 36". FO. Leave long tail for sewing.
- Fold scarf in half and give one side a twist to give the infinity look. Using yarn needle whipstitch together.
